The Halfway House - Childer Thornton
In January and March of 2003, Cheshire
Paranormal
held two vigils
in the Halfway House at Childer Thornton,
where we obtained 35m, Digital,
CCTV video photographic evidence and audio evidence.
On
the staircase, a lady in white has been seen.
A young boy died here and he
has been seen coming down the stairs with a ball in front of him. In the lounge
area we have managed to take a photograph of an elderly lady. In an upstairs room,
one of our investigators saw an elderly man. In the bar area there is the spirit
of a cat which has been recorded on audio and video tape.

Though
nobody in the surrounding area owns a cockerel we have one crowing in the distance
on audio, together with a horse and cart trotting past. Other people have claimed
that a stagecoach is seen and heard in this location but this is nonsense. We
have proof of A horse and cart. The difference between a stagecoach
and a horse and cart does not need explaining.
As
with all paranormal activity, people need proof and that is what we have. As mentioned
on an earlier page, our aims are to investigate and then prove what we have found.

IN THE HALFWAY HOUSE WITH GOOD HARD EVIDENCE THAT THIS PUB WAS HAUNTED. WHICH MY
GROUP COLLECTED FROM THE NIGHT ON A CAMCORDER CCTV VIDEO AND 35M CAMERA. WE ALSO HAD
CHANNEL4 TV WITH US ON THIS NIGHT THE VIGIL LASTED TILL 7AM NEXT DAY |
